Elections, Annual Meeting and Holiday Party

We are excited to announce our 2012 Annual Member meeting and Holiday Party.  We will be featuring Live Local Music and Catering by Dupree Catering and Events. 

 

Also featured will be the UK College of Design Exhibition of the LUHAN Studio_Fall 2012 "Bridging Between Authenticity and Permanence _ AIA KY _ Center for Architecture".

All proceeds will benefit the Lexington Habitat for Humanity.

  5:00pm-5:20pm UK CoD update
  5:20pm-5:30pm Final Nominations, Elections and Bylaws Modifications
• December 6th - 5:30pm AIA East Kentucky Holiday Party

 

Members: Participate in this years Elections

the Chapter is voting on Officers and Directors

Balloting and nominating will be conducted electronically via email solicitation, and also from the floor at the annual meeting.  Both means of voting are available to allow the most number of members to participate.

 

Each member has one vote.

All candidates and voters must be AIA East Kentucky members in good standing.

Lexington Residential Architecture Tour

September 22nd!

Don't miss this opportunity to become aquainted with several of Lexington's leading architects as they showcase a variety of housing types ranging from high-design twists on the single family home to a multi-family mixed use development.  Each project represents the intricate nature of the architect's design process as it evolved in response to the specific needs and desires of the individual client, available budget, surrounding context and sustainability.  The result... spaces that are poetic marriages of form and function.

WiA is supporting the community by donating a portion of the proceeds from the tour to the Bluegrass Domestic Violence Program. BDVP is committed to ending intimate partner abuse and its impact on families and our community.
